Instant Pot Chuck Roast
Instant Pot Beef Pot Roast is an excellent family dinner. Beef chuck
roast turns out juicy, tender and super flavorful in the Instant Pot.

Cook Time 55 minutes
Total Time 1 hour
Ingredients
- 2lb chuck roast
- Instant Pot
- 2-3 cups of water
- 0.25lb of tallow (just enough to sear chuck roast a bit)
- Frying pan
- Tinfoil
Instructions
- Put roast (2-3 lbs) in Instant Pot.
- Pour water so that it covers the bottom of the pot about one inch deep. It doesn’t have to cover the whole roast.
- Salt liberally.
- Set for 30 mins on high.
- Once cooked, remove the roast and keep the broth.
- Take the roast and put it in your handy air fryer at 400 degrees for 10 mins.
- Flip and repeat.
- If you don’t have an air fryer, roast in an oven at 400 for 15 mins.
