Beef Broth (Soup)

This is one of my key staples. It is low histamine, easy to digest, and honestly delicious.

Ingredients

  • 2lbs of beef
  • Possible cuts: chuck roast, round roast, sirloin, any type of steak, really any cut except ground beef. Ideally with no bones. Lean cuts actually work really well for this recipe.
  • Instant pot
  • Water
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Take 2lbs of beef and put it in the Instant Pot, it can be frozen, or thawed.
  2. For steaks: Add just enough water to barely cover the meat.
  3. For roasts: Add about a cup and a half of water.
  4. The only trick to this soup is do not add too much water.
  5. Pressure cook on high for 1 hour.
  6. Salt to taste.
  7. If you're being careful with histamines, eat the same day.
