This place (Paleomedicina) has actual doctors prescribing a high fat meat diet to successfully treat chronic disease. With hugely positive results (much more effective than medication). They’ve treated pregnant women, infants, and breastfeeding women as well. They have found no ill effects of the diet (they call it paleolithic ketogenic, basically a fancy turn for a red meat diet).

Eventually North America will stop with the “it must be a placebo effect” and start actually treating people. Suuuuper exciting. Also extremely satisfying after years of “you’re crazy”. Extremely. Satisfying.

    Professor Felice Jacka, who led the Deakin University, Victoria study, said, “Originally, we thought the consumption of red meat was not necessarily beneficial to mental problems. It turned out that it was very much the case. ”

    “Women who consume less than half of the recommended amount of red meat have twice as often suffered from depression or anxiety with women who consume the recommended amount.”

    “When other factors were taken into account in comparison, such as socioeconomic status, physical activity level, smoking, weight and age, that relationship was still maintained.”

    “Interestingly, mental health did not depend on the consumption of any other protein. It did not depend, for example, on chicken, pigs, fish, or the consumption of plant proteins. In the study only 19 women were vegetarian. When we removed them from the statistics, the relationship was not changed either. ”

    According to Professor Jacka, the diet of animals in the pasture is also a key issue.

  2. Hi Mikhalia, I was just listening to your dad on Joe Rogan and he mentioned Arthritis. A while ago I saw a few youtube vids and articles on Boron / Borax and how its helped people. I don’t know if you’ve tried it but I thought it was worth mentioning.

  3. Honest question because I’m not familiar with the complete history of your plight, but have you had your vitamin d checked? I had similar but less severe experiences with many different foods suddenly in my 30s. I spent years looking into ways to find relief without success. Then I found some odd correlations with Vitamin D and allergies, food intolerance and depression though online research. And I’m also Canadian, and inside most of the time.

    After a couple of weeks of taking up to 10,000 IU (no joke) of Vitamin D soft-gels a day, my intolerance to things like beer went away and a rash I’ve had for 3 years started to heal.

For a Family That she said on JRE is “science based” she doesn’t do a lot of scientific Research. She does love to research anecdotal evidence mostly from the 1 book and the 1 lady that she read about. Nothing But Meat, Salt, and Water for the rest of your life????? Not healthy and absurd to look at in words.
