Really Important Read – Paleomedicina – Evidence The Lion Diet Works

By Mikhaila

“We believe that the PKD is the only evolutionary adapted diet for humans. Rehabilitation of chronic diseases is most effective when the diet is limited to our real physiological needs. Eating fruits and vegetables does not form part of our physiological need but are associated with risks.”

(PDF) Therapeutic protocol of Paleomedicina Hungary. Available from: https://www.researchgate.net/publication/323151200_Therapeutic_protocol_of_Paleomedicina_Hungary

This place (Paleomedicina) has actual doctors prescribing a high fat meat diet to successfully treat chronic disease. With hugely positive results (much more effective than medication). They’ve treated pregnant women, infants, and breastfeeding women as well. They have found no ill effects of the diet (they call it paleolithic ketogenic, basically a fancy turn for a red meat diet).

Eventually North America will stop with the “it must be a placebo effect” and start actually treating people. Suuuuper exciting. Also extremely satisfying after years of “you’re crazy”. Extremely. Satisfying.

They have a website HERE. (It’s in Hungarian but you can use Google Translate). The case studies are incredible.

  1. i have been on the carnivore diet, well i do eat some eggs and cheese, for about 2 months and have felt great! yesterday i had some low carb candy and woke with lower back pain. i listened to you on rogan’s podcast and now i am sure it was the candy; one of the top ingredients was soy lecithin emulsifier. i thought i was treating myself for being so faithful to the diet. it was sugar free after all. wow midday and still have the back pain. thru the candy in the trash!

    1. Most sugar free stuff, including candy, contain sugar alcohols, including xylitol and sorbitol, which are sugars.

They call it not sugar because it is not sucrose (common table sugar), but it is really sugar.

  2. Hello Friends. If you have a chronic illness do your own research! I have Multiple Sclerosis, crohns disease, Epilepsy, and Chronic Migraines. Each of these a has tons of research on how diet, lifestyle, and exercise impact the illness. Everyone on the internet is an “expert.” If you live with any degenerative chronic illness talk to your doc, do your research, try some stuff out, and find out what works for you. I live, eat, exercise a certain way and would never tell someone what to do. What I do works for me given my situation. Remember, “The shoe that fits one person pinches another; there is no recipe for living that suits all cases. – Carl Jung.”

  3. Saw you on Joe Rogan and can relate to your experience. I’d been suffering with a quick onset of gait issues and vertigo for a few years in my late twenties. Long story short I was diagnosed with gluten induced cerebellar ataxia and was told to eliminate the usual suspects (gluten, soy, corn, eggs, legumes, dairy, sugar, etc.) and this helped greatly. Though my gait issues had resolved, I was waking up everyday feeling as if my joints had been encased in cement and later came to realize nightshades were a huge contributor to this symptom.

For a little over a year I was consuming a very red meat and fat heavy diet (collagen, coconut oil, etc.) but this was having a very negative impact on my bowel movements. Then I was introduced to the blood type diet (look into Dr. D’Adamo). I have a hunch that you may be a type O. From my understanding type Os produce a lot of acidity in their gut which allows them to breakdown meat proteins, whereas type As like myself lack the enzymes to process them effectively. When all is said and done, the most important thing is that you listen to your body.

I’m glad to know there are people like you providing such an invaluable resource for others, thank you Mikhaila.

  4. Fascia tissue. Ms. Peterson – mine has been super cramped for years from a 10 day antibiotic use nigh on three years ago. You might look into that for relief of your organs. All of my organs are inflamed to some degree because of it. Perhaps that will further you along to better health?

Your problems sound like a mad mix of neural, muscular and chiropractic related stuff. Likely the antibiotics wrecked your body (on top of your health problems you were born with). If I were you, I’d call every single naturopath around you and see who’s got the right idea. I’ve experienced pain too. That’s why I’m sharing. On my own blog, I will be blogging about fascia tissue in the near future and why I think it’s a good place to go. I have other health related stuff on my blog. Maybe it’ll give you a direction to go in.

Ketogenic sounds like a good diet for you though. Given how much stuff your body is allergic to suggests to me that your body is seriously inflamed (again, probably due to the heavy antibiotic use; that stuff’s basically cancer and other diseases in pill form). Healthy fats and oils (avocado with onion makes a good lunch, not gonna lie – just add salt), some meat.
