My experience with morning sickness: Whenever I ate something wrong I was incredibly nauseous. For instance, I started taking a prenatal that had soy and was nauseous that entire week (before I realized it had added soy). I had a severe reaction to something I ate and tried to take antidepressants. I actually ended up …

Favourite Products at Paleo f(x) 2018 – Salt, Toothpaste, and Baby Food
Super quick post about a couple of things I saw at Paleo f(x) that I really liked. I know this is late, but c’est la vie, better late than never. I couldn’t eat most of the things there, but it was an excellent time anyway. Great minds. Redmond Real Salt This salt is weirdly tasty. It’s not …

Guest Post: Never Too Late To Correct A Bad Diet
Hi, I’m a 67 year old Canadian male who endured 40+ years of ongoing health problems that included obesity (even when engaging 10K treadmill 6 days per week). Reaching the age of 60, I was prediabetic with low energy and most often had some degree of mind fog.
Guest Post: How Low Carb Is Saving My Life
I am a 29 year old male. Growing up, my family was extremely poor. I had a steady diet of boxed/frozen dinners, sodas and sugary snacks. I have suffered from anxiety since I was very young. Depression has also been a huge problem for me for the last decade. Just a year and a half ago, I was over weight, over worked, and over stressed. I was on a path back to the mental hospital for the second time. (First time was a self check in for wanting to hurt myself.) After that I was put on a daily dose of Prozac for my anxiety. I got fired from my job, and developed a strong dependency on marijuana to numb the pain of my problems.
Guest Post: Ankylosing Spondylitis and Zero Carb/Carnivore Diet
This is written by Jordan Gold. He contacted me through Instagram (goldjor) a bit less than a month ago and skeptically started the carnivore diet. This testimonial really made me happy. Ankylosing spondylitis is very similar to what I have except it causes arthritis in the spine (among other joints). It’s horrible. Anyway, Jordan emailed …

Guest Post: Paleo Diet for Digestive Diseases
I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in 2010 at the age of 21 years old. I have been managing my disease with diet and functional medicine since 2011. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Eastern Kentucky University, and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Kentucky. I plan on pursing a graduate degree in Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and practicing as an integrative medicine family nurse practitioner specializing in digestive disorders.
Guest Post: Saved by Fat
I have been a type 2 diabetic(T2D) for over 20 years. For the majority of that time I have followed the American Diabetic Association (ADA) guidelines. As the years went by I needed more and more medication to control the blood glucose (BG). Currently I am a 59 year old male.
Thanks for the support and testimonials
First testimonials: If you’ve changed the way you’ve eaten, please submit a testimonial! Whether it’s cutting dairy, cutting gluten, cutting sugar, cutting all three, doing the initial diet I had written, or going all the way to zero-carb, let me know how things changed and what kind of difference it made. Thanks: I got a …
Guest Post: Better Eating Fewer Carbs, But Best at Carnivore
This is a testimony from someone I’ve been communicating with for quite a while. Low carb wasn’t quite enough for her. “Hi Mikhaila This is my testimony. Please don’t include my name. Thanks for changing my life. I’m 28 and female. I was suffering from so many autoimmune disorders since I was a …
